Each announcement must belong to an announcement category. These announcement categories can be displayed on your website or viewed in news readers using RSS. An example announcement category is "Upcoming Events".
To manage your announcement categories, go to "News" and click "Announcements".
Now you may manage your announcement categories.
To create a category for your announcements, click "Create category".
To edit announcements within an existing category, click "edit announcements".
To change a category's name or RSS usage, click "properties".
To delete a category, click "delete".
Example: Creating an announcement category
First, click "Create category".
Now enter the category's properties.

Use RSS: |
select "Yes" to allow visitors to automatically download and receive your announcements with their news readers, or "No" to disallow the use of RSS. |
When finished, click "Save Changes".
